SWARM exhibition and events update
A big thank you to everyone who's been to see the SWARM exhibition at Vestry House Museum to date. We've been overwhelmed by the response from visitors - this makes all the hard work worthwhile! If you haven't made it yet not to worry - the exhibition will be on until 26 January 2020. And if you have been already - there's plenty of reasons to revisit!

Miyuki Kasahara has been busy creating more "speech bubble stories" for her installation Can You Hear Me? in the Museum's beautiful garden. The new additions should be installed in the garden by 6 September.

On 7 September, 2-4 PM we'll have our much-anticipated scientists' talk. Science journalist Flora Graham will be in conversation with scientists Dr Nick Isaac (Centre for Ecology & Hydrology), Dr Seirian Sumner (UCL) and Dr Yannick Wurm (Queen Mary University of London) to discuss the drastic effects of pesticides on pollinator species, and to challenge the negative perceptions of wasps. The event is free but is booking up fast!

This event is followed by a host of other pollinator-themed events for all ages this autumn - from a bee-keeping workshop to various artist-led creative workshops. Check out the full programme here.
On Friday 20 September SWARM artists will take part in the Global Climate Strike. See Greta Thunberg and other young people call for adults to join the global youth strike here.

Finally: Until 29 September you'll also have the chance to catch works by Cornelia Parker and Rachel Whiteread at Vestry House Museum as part of "Ways of Seeing" - an exhibition of works from the Government Art Collection in venues all over the Borough.
