Solo exhibition at PontArte Gallery, Maastricht

I am delighted to announce that my  Pandemic Spring coronavirus diary will be exhibited in my first solo show at PontArte Gallery, Maastricht, from 7 November to 6 December 2020. Since I made this series it's been my dream  to show all the pages of the chronology together In Real Life so I am super excited about this opportunity.

The exhibition, which was conceived in collaboration with Tasneem Gallery Barcelona/Berlin), will also feature Birds of America, a 42 piece visual diary I made to record the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico by overlaying found reprints of Audubon's famous book "Birds of America" with the maps of the oil spill on different days. This will only be the second time this chronology is shown in its entirety.

Off course, with Europe in the midst of the second civid-wave, we're having to work around a few challenges:

* In person visits to the Gallery will only be available from 12 November because the galerist was required to quarantine after travelling to the Discovery Art Fair in Frankfurt. The usual hygiene and distancing measures will be in place to ensure your visit is covid-safe. All work is for sale.

* Covid-related travel restrictions mean that I won't be allowed to travel to the exhibition personally. Instead, the gallery has scheduled online "meet the artist" events, starting with two Online Private Views on 12 and 14 November. You can book your free place for these events here . It would be lovely to see some of you on the zoom screen!
